A FREE Tour of Durham’s Fullsteam Brewery
If you’re looking for a great way to kill an hour on a Sunday, I highly recommend taking Fullsteam Brewery’s Facility Tour.

Sean from Fullsteam explaining the logic behind some of the ingredients in their beer
It takes about an hour, it’s fun, educational, it’s FREE and you get to sample BEER – so you can’t go wrong.
The founder of Fullsteam, Sean Wilson, did a good job of keeping things light and entertaining as he walked us through their beer brewing process and answered everyone’s questions. After you take the tour, you’ll see just how awesome this company is and get a sense of how much passion and energy they put into their beer.
Out of the 4 or 5 beers we got to taste, my favorite was the Fullsteam and the Working Man’s Lunch. Heather liked the Carver Sweet Potato.
They do these tours on the first Sunday of every month, and they fill up fast. You can reserve your spot for the next one on the Fullsteam Brewery Website.

Yep, you can bring well-behaved dogs into Fullsteam!
** Oh yeah, and one of the things that makes Fullsteam really cool is…you can bring your well-behaved dogs! Sometime in the next week or two I’ll bring Lou Dawg and we’ll post all about it.
After the tour, we went out front for the “Music For Micro Loans Benefit”. The benefit is sponsored by Whole Foods to help fund female entrepreneurs in poor communities across the world. Durham Reggae band ‘dub Addis’ had the packed bar dancing.
Fullsteam also had a special brew made just for the event, unfortunately I did not get to try it.
You can check out some of the pics of the tour and show below.
